Search
in the Title and Outline
fields

To perform a search,
type what you are looking for into
the appropriate search box.
A search in the Outline
field covers search in title, summary
and table of contents.
Lowercase words will match any case.

Use multiple words when
performing your search if you want to
find titles or book outlines which
contain several words at a time (separate
them with a blank space)
Example: Type
geophysics basins in the Title field
You will find titles such as "Geophysics
for sedimentary basins".

Use quotation marks to
find words that must appear adjacent
to each other. |
Use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard.
Example: Type
log* in the Title field
You will find all titles containing
words starting with log
such as logic, logical, logging,
logbook, etc.
|
|
Use Boolean logic
(and, or, not, parenthesis).
Example:
Type logging and seismic in the
Title field
You will find titles such as "seismic
surveying and well logging"
Type seismic
and not logging
you will find the title "Seismic
well surveying"
but not "Seismic surveying
and well logging"
Type (reservoir
and rock) or (reservoir and fractur*)
You will find titles such
as "Reservoir Rocks",
"Reservoir engineering aspects
of fractured formations (The)",
etc.
